With around 8,000 students, Heilbronn University (HHN) is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg. It focuses on the fields of engineering, business and computer science. At three locations and four campuses in Heilbronn, Künzelsau and Schwäbisch Hall, the university offers more than 50 future-oriented Bachelor's and Master's degree courses. Students enjoy a family atmosphere without overcrowded lecture halls.

The research area is well equipped and is dedicated to socially relevant topics such as autonomous driving and human-machine interaction. We promote practical experience through close relationships with companies and facilitate intercultural exchange with students from over 100 countries and opportunities abroad with over 200 partner universities. The Heilbronn-Franken Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) is an important institution in the region that sees itself as a modern service provider and representative of the interests of the regional economy. It offers a wide range of services and supports its member companies as a partner, advisor and information hub in a variety of areas. The IHK Heilbronn-Franken is not only a point of contact for companies, but also an important player in regional economic development. IT Bündnis BW

The establishment of the IT network for the Heilbronn-Franken region was supported financially and professionally by the state-wide initiative smart businessIT. This initiative is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts (MWK) in technical coordination with the Ministry of Finance and Economics (MFW). CyberForum Service GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of CyberForum e.V., is responsible for the overall coordination of smart businessIT. Other strong partners are bwcon in Stuttgart and bwcon südwest (formerly medien forum freiburg e.V.) in Freiburg.
