New ways of recruiting IT specialists
Increasing digitalization is not only changing the world of work, it is also creating additional job opportunities. In order to counteract the shortage of IT specialists in all specialist areas, more and more companies are opening up new ways of recruiting digital-savvy employees. Great opportunities are opening up for career changers and international specialists.
The partial qualification in IT is an interesting opportunity to recruit IT specialists from a candidate environment that is currently not so competitive. This is in stark contrast to IT graduates from dual training programs and in an academic environment. People with a partial qualification often already bring valuable practical experience to the IT world. It is therefore important to identify the right candidates as early as possible and to secure them via the free and non-binding 6-week internship.
Support from the employment agency
As part of the 6-month partial qualification in IT, the Federal Employment Agency subsidizes up to 100% of the course and salary costs for certain groups of people (people without a vocational qualification / who have been in vocational training for some time / people with a migration background). There is no obligation to take on a trainee. If you are accepted into a two-year IT apprenticeship (IHK), the employment agency will subsidize up to 50-75% of the salary costs for the group of people described above in the amount of an assistant's salary. In this way, you can recruit experienced employees and train them to become IT specialists. Thanks to the funding, the costs are roughly comparable to those of a typical trainee.
You are welcome to contact us or the employment agency in Heilbronn to find out about the specific funding requirements.
