What can you expect?
In this workshop, you will get to know pib - the humanoid robot from the 3D printer, which you can assemble yourself step by step.
You will screw, program and test it yourself at various hands-on stations. Simple, fun and hands-on.
Whether you're a beginner or a technology fan, you can indulge your curiosity and gain your first experience with robotics and AI.

Stations of the workshop:
Station 1: Construction & functionality

You assemble a robotic hand from 3D-printed parts.

You will learn how the biomechanics of the human hand are replicated in robotics.
Station 2: Programming

You control pib with block programming or Python.

You teach it to perform precise movements and poses.
Station 3: Artificial intelligence in dialog

You give pib its own personality through prompts.

You talk to it or let it solve tasks.
Station 4: Intelligent object recognition

You learn how AI understands images and create your own object recognition.

You assign labels to images and see how machines learn to interpret their surroundings.
Station 5: experience pib live

You interact directly with pib.

The robot recognizes your movements and emotions and imitates your gestures.
Procedure
Brief introduction to AI-supported image and video production, practical live demos, trying out the tools together and reflecting on possible applications in art & education.
