IT specialists are also in high demand in the Heilbronn-Franken region. Quite a few companies are breaking new ground and are also looking for qualified colleagues internationally. This often raises a wide range of questions - How does the visa process work? Which visa is the right one? What requirements do international skilled workers have to fulfill in order to work here? How long does it all take? How can we as a company support our new colleagues as they arrive and settle in?
The Welcome Center Heilbronn-Franken has been supporting companies with these questions since 2014. The Welcome Center advises companies on all questions relating to the search for and recruitment of international skilled workers. The advice is independent and free of charge.
In addition to companies, the Welcome Center also advises international skilled workers themselves who are interested in the Heilbronn-Franconia region or are already working here. Support is offered, for example, in the preparation of application documents and in the search for suitable jobs. The job portal www.regiojobs24.de, which is maintained by the sponsor of the Welcome Center, Wirtschaftsregion Heilbronn-Franken GmbH, is used for this purpose. Among the international skilled workers are always IT specialists who are attracted by the strong economy in Heilbronn-Franken.
To make it easier for them to start their careers in the region and for companies to find suitable specialists, the Welcome Center will in future participate in the connect.IT talent pool and post anonymized profiles of international specialists. If companies are interested in the candidates, they can contact the Welcome Center directly.
