New Management Board and new Board of Trustees at connect.IT

At the general meeting in Heilbronn on July 2, 2018, connect.IT Heilbronn-Franken e.V. elected a new board as scheduled. Steffen Jung (gravima GmbH) remains in office as Chairman of the Board. Steve Holl (Education Future GmbH i.G.) was elected as his deputy and second chairman. The new treasurer is David Weidenbacher (regiofirm | Gründer-Agentur), who succeeds Philipp Küller (Fujitsu TDS GmbH). Frank Oschmann (PRETTL Group) was appointed as the new secretary. The other board members of connect.IT include Jonathan Günz (solid IT GmbH), Wolfgang Kraus (Kaufland Informationssysteme GmbH & Co. KG), Dominik Kress (Lidl Digital International GmbH & Co. KG), Jochen Rummel (Bechtle GmbH & Co. KG), Oskar Schmidt (SIC! Software GmbH) and Daniel Wierbicki (Wierbicki IT). The ten-member board of the association is newly elected by the members every two years.

Looking back on the past term of office, Steffen Jung thanked all departing Board members for their dedicated work. In his welcoming address to the newly elected Board members, the Chairman pointed out that the Board represents a broad spectrum of stakeholders from business and further education and is well staffed in terms of continuity and renewal. "The Board is an expression of connect.IT's diverse areas of work. I am very much looking forward to the upcoming collaboration to jointly tackle the current challenges of digital change in the Heilbronn-Franken region," said Steffen Jung.

The new Executive Board met for its first ordinary meeting on July 16, 2018 in Heilbronn. At this meeting, a new Board of Trustees was appointed as an advisory body to advise the Executive Board and promote the purpose of the association. Twenty personalities from the worlds of business, politics, science and administration were appointed by the Executive Board: Dr. Jochen Becker (Schwarz Stiftung GmbH), Klaus Blükle (Hentschke & Blükle), Jürgen Czupalla (Heilbronn Employment Agency), Stefan Ernesti (City of Heilbronn), Harry Hauck (DST it-services GmbH), Dr. Michael Heil (Christian-Schmidt-Schule), Stefan Herold (Schwarz IT GmbH & Co. KG), Prof. Dr. Dieter Hertweck (Hermann Hollerith Zentrum), Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar (TU Munich), ), Prof. Dr. Nicola Marsden (Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences), Prof. Dr. Arnulf Mester (Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Mosbach), Kai Plambeck (IHK Heilbronn-Franken), Sigrid Rögner, Bettina Schulz (venture forum Neckar e.V.), Dr. Andreas Schumm (Heilbronn-Franken economic region), Daniel Stahl (Heilbronner Stimme GmbH & Co.
