Event on 26 April 2018 illustrates how companies can take advantage of the opportunities offered by digitalization

Digitalization is associated with enormous hopes, but also great fears. The direction it takes depends crucially on the willingness to actively shape digitalization. To ensure that the digital transformation succeeds, W.I.H.-Wirtschaftsinitiative Hohenlohe GmbH, in cooperation with connect.IT Heilbronn-Franken, is inviting Hohenlohe companies to the information event "Digital transformation in practice - how change succeeds with IT". The event will take place on Thursday, April 26, 2018, 6:00 pm at Sparkasse Hohenlohekreis, Konsul-Uebele-Str. 11, 74653 Künzelsau.

After a welcome by Bernd Kaufmann, Chairman of the Board of Sparkasse Hohenlohekreis and Margot Klinger, Managing Director of W.I.H. GmbH, Prof. Dr. Dieter Hertweck, Herman Hollerith Zentrum, Böblingen, will explain which innovation methods companies can use to successfully develop a digital business model. Harry Hauck and Armin Daubmann, DST it-services GmbH, Heilbronn, will then present the practical challenges that digitization and Industry 4.0 pose for the IT landscape in companies. Dr. Claus Hoffmann, connect.IT Heilbronn-Franken e.V., will present change management approaches and report on new qualification requirements for employees in the face of digital change. Thorben Heinrichs, Baden-Württemberg: Connected e.V., Stuttgart, will conclude with an overview of public funding programmes for digitalization projects in companies.
