In June, members and friends of connect.ITcan look forward to a unique expedition to experimenta in Heilbronn.

The experimenta is a renowned science and technology museum that offers a variety of interactive exhibitions and exhibits to bring science and technology to life for all age groups. Participants at this exclusive event will be taken on an exciting and informative journey behind the scenes of experimenta by Dr. Thomas Wendt, Head of Laboratories.

Experience creates knowledge. This is the philosophy of experimenta, Germany's largest science center. The answers to the major challenges of our time, such as digitalization, mobility, climate change, the energy transition and health, will determine the future viability of the country. Education and science are crucial to finding solutions and shaping our future.

End of the expedition

There will be several highlights on this connect.IT expedition: During the guided tour through the various exhibitions, Dr. Thomas Wendt will talk about some of the exhibits and provide exclusive background information. During the "Experience Special", we will experience the Science Dome, a unique mixture of 360-degree cinema, planetarium and theater stage.

The expedition will be rounded off with a visit to the laboratories, the student research center and the Makerspace, where young and old can get creative and implement their own projects. Dr. Thomas Wendt will present the various tools, materials and exciting projects available in the makerspace.
