Meeting of the IT networks

On Thursday, March 5, 2015, the 7th meeting of the IT alliance of regional IT networks in Baden-Württemberg took place. In short, "The meeting of the IT networks in Baden-Württemberg". Representatives from the Ulm, Heilbronn, Lörrach, Pforzheim, Reutlingen, Karlsruhe, Constance and Fellbach regions met under the umbrella of smart businessIT. Many interesting topics were on the agenda at the premises of the Virtual Dimension Center (Germany's leading competence network for virtual engineering) in Fellbach.

One of the most important topics this time was the promotion of young IT talent in Baden-Württemberg. There are currently many interesting projects being developed in this context. Every IT network is working at full speed to promote the topic of young talent in its region. connect.IT is also making its contribution. A member management system and a regional skills database are currently being developed under the project name "Connect2Know". The aim of the membership management system is to professionally manage the constantly growing number of members, while the skills database will provide a database for projects such as the IT pilot.

The so-called IT Lotsen(www.itlotse.de) is an Internet platform that enables visitors to find IT experts from the region in an uncomplicated and targeted manner in order to get in touch with suitable project partners. This project thus makes an important contribution to the networking of IT within the country.

A lot is currently happening in the context of IT networking and each of the participating networks is actively working on various projects to advance the topic in their regional environment. We look forward to working together over the coming months.
