Meeting of IT networks in Lörrach

On Wednesday, February 26, the 2nd meeting of the eleven regional IT networks in Baden-Württemberg took place at the Innocel Innovations Center in Lörrach. The occasion was an invitation from Innocel and the smart businessIT initiative with the aim of exchanging experiences, discussing current challenges in the IT sector and developing joint solutions. In addition to network managers, the panel was enriched by company representatives and scientists from various regions of Baden-Württemberg. Prof. Dr. Dieter Hertweck from the IT network connect.IT from the Heilbronn-Franken region was also present.

The regional IT networks, which now want to meet regularly at the respective IT locations, reported on developments from their regions at Innocel and delved deeper into the topic of "Training and further education for IT specialists". They also discussed new offers and activities of the state-wide IT network of IT clusters for companies and higher education institutions in Baden-Württemberg. It was also agreed to organize the next meeting of the IT networks in cooperation with the IT network connect.IT in Heilbronn-Franken. Gennadi Schermann, head of the state initiative smart businessIT, was pleased with the developments since the last meeting in December: "I am very pleased that the smart businessIT initiative has met with a broad response in all regions of Baden-Württemberg and that we will intensify our cooperation in the establishment and further development of the regional IT networks."
